Διήμερο επίσκεψης στην Αντίπαρο κλιμακίου εθελοντών ιατρών της «ΕΜΕΙΣ» (Ελληνική Μαστολογική Εταιρεία Ιασης - Στήριξης) με τη στήριξη του συλλόγου «Αντίπαρος Εν Πλω»

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία διοργανώθηκε από τον σύλλογο «Αντίπαρος Εν Πλω» σε συνεργασία με το Πολυδύναμο Ιατρείο Αντιπάρου και την υποστήριξη της ΚΕΔΑ

και του Δήμου Αντιπάρου, το διήμερο επίσκεψης στην Αντίπαρο κλιμακίου εθελοντών ιατρών της ΕΜΕΙΣ (Ελληνική Μαστολογική Εταιρεία Ιασης - Στήριξης) στις 24 και 25 Απριλίου.

Η εκδήλωση περιλάμβανε ιατρεία μαστού από πέντε χειρουργούς μαστού και δύο ακτινοδιαγνώστες που διεξήγαγαν υπερηχογραφήματα (εξετάσθηκαν 93 άτομα), εξέταση 38 παιδιών από τρεις παιδιάτρους, δερματολογική εξέταση από δερματολόγο (εξετάσθηκαν 52 άτομα), ομιλία ενημέρωσης – ευαισθητοποίησης του κοινού στην αίθουσα Καλουδά, καθώς και ομιλία στους μαθητές του Δημοτικού Σχολείου.

Η επιτυχία της εκδήλωσης δεν θα ήταν δυνατή χωρίς την ενέργεια των τόσο φιλικών, εργατικών και ανθρωπίνων εθελοντών ιατρών της ΕΜΕΙΣ, ωστόσο σημαντικό ρόλο έπαιξε και η φιλοξενία που πρόσφερε το νησί, καθώς και συγκεκριμένοι φορείς και επιχειρηματίες που συνέδραμαν με την εθελοντική τους προσφορά σε αυτή, και είναι οι παρακάτω:

* ΚΕΔΑ – Δήμος Αντιπάρου και το Πολυδύναμο Ιατρείο Αντιπάρου.

* Τα ξενοδοχεία «Artemis Hotel», «Thalasea», «Μαούνη Μαρία» και «Μαριάνου Κλαίρα» για την προσφορά των δωματίων.

* To Camping για το αυτοκίνητο του για τη μεταφορά των ιατρών και του εξοπλισμού του.

* Την κοινοπραξία των ferry boats για την προσφορά της μετακίνησης του αυτοκινήτου και των ιατρών.

* Το Δημοτικό Σχολείο που άνοιξε τις αίθουσες του για τη διεκπεραίωση των ραντεβού.

* Τον Σύλλογο Γυναικών για τα κεράσματα της ομιλίας.

Τέλος, ευχαριστούμε όλους τους πολίτες που βοήθησαν ανώνυμα.

A unit of volunteer doctors from EMEIS (The Scientific Mastological Society - Healing - Support) visited Antiparos on 24 and 25 April, in an event organized by the Antiparos En Plo society, in cooperation with the Multifunctional Medical Clinic of Antiparos, and with the support of KEDA (Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Antiparos) and the Municipality of Antiparos. The two-day visit was deemed a great success. 

The event included breast clinics held by five breast surgeons and two radiologists who performed ultrasounds (a total of 93 persons were examined); the examination of 38 children by three paediatricians; skin examinations by a dermatologist (some 52 persons were examined); a public information / awareness-building lecture at Kalouda Hall; and, a talk given to students of the local Primary School.

There is no doubt that the event could not possibly have been a success without the energy and vitality of the volunteer doctors from EMEIS, who were so friendly, diligent and humane; however, a significant role was also played by the hospitality offered by the island and its residents, as well as by specific bodies and businesspersons who contributed to this success through their volunteer actions and offerings. They were the following:

KEDA, the Municipality of Antiparos and the Multifunctional Medical Clinic of Antiparos.

The accommodation providers Artemis Hotel, Thalasea, Maria Maouni and Klaira Marianou, who offered their rooms to the visitors.

The Campsite, which provided its vehicle and transported the doctors and their equipment.

The Ferry Boat Consortium, which offered to transport the vehicle and the doctors.

The Primary School, which opened its doors and classrooms in order to host the appointments.

The Women’s Society, which offered the treats at the public lecture.

Finally, we would like to thank all of the residents of the island who helped anonymously.
